No one can imagine the pressure over his shoulders since almost 4 years. He visits the frontlines regularly, meeting soldiers, he has never missed a single day addressing his people, delivering daily messages no matter the circumstances. He carries the weight of looking into the eyes of grieving children who lost their fathers and comforting widows. Who could have done better than him? 🕯️Defender of Ukraine Serhiy Leontiyovych Simchuk has returned to his native village of Dubyshche for eternal rest. Serhiy Simchuk was killed on July 14, 2024, while performing a combat mission in Donetsk region. After many long months of waiting and repeated identification, it became known that his body had been resting in the city of Dnipro. On January 9, 2026, Serhiy was laid to rest at the cemetery in his native village of Dubyshche. Sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the fallen Hero.

🇺🇦 Ukrainian flag reached the South Pole in Antarctica! To make it happen, renowned Latvian mountaineer Juris Ulmanis skied 150 kilometres over 16 days in incredibly harsh polar conditions. Juris has supported Ukraine for many years. Since 2014, he has volunteered in frontline areas, helping both defenders and civilians. After Russia's full-scale invasion, he has focused on international advocacy in support of Ukraine.
