Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” Why it’s powerful: • It’s a clear promise and invitation: As you intentionally draw close (through prayer, reading Scripture, worship, obedience, etc.), God draws close to you. • It emphasizes action on our part — repentance, purity of heart, and single-minded devotion. • It’s practical for daily life: the more you pursue Him, the more you experience His presence. Other strong companion verses: • Jeremiah 29:13 — “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” • Psalm 119:105 — “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” (Great for consistent Bible reading) • Matthew 6:33 — “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
