New, modern signals are now fully installed across the Orange Line. On March 6, we finished the full-access diversion 2 days early after completing the cutover to the state-of-the-art digital signal system, which means greater service reliability and more efficient operations.

For the last diversion of 2025, we suspended the Green Line to update historic infrastructure from the 1890s. On December 8-22, we installed new catenary supports, added GLTPS equipment, upgraded stations, & more to modernize our system to reliably serve riders for years to come.
