As we have been tracking closely, the Senate is confirming - they are disregarding the law because they are incapable of following it. As we pointed out yesterday, HB 2100 - the new gerrymandering bill - is a month overdue for the election law changes from SB 29 passed just 3 months ago! SB 29's own bill sponsor gives up the goods on the floor: "We're out of time" and that's why they are breaking the law. Senator Washington in the background signals silently that Senator Kagan has messed up.
