Before the winter storm gets here, figure out how to shut off water inside your home or at the water meter. Doing so may help prevent thousands of dollars in water damage. If a pipe bursts at your home or business shut off water at the meter if you can. If that isn't an option, shut off water using the main valve inside your home then call #MLGW at 544-6549 to report it. We will send someone to shut off the water at the meter to help limit damage from the broken pipe.
