Joe Rogan asked RFK Jr. how it feels to be treated like a conspiracy theorist by his own family, and his response was to give a short lesson on Albert Camus’s The Plague, the Myth of Sisyphus, and the Stoics. I think the reason people are drawn to RFK Jr. is because he's a breath of fresh air. Compared to the routine bureaucrats you expect to run for president, he's actually an impressive person, with an impressive mind, that seems earnestly interested in ideas and the truth. He doesn't have to be your preferred candidate to see that. We have such unimpressive fiat elites, and it wears on people, so people like RFK Jr., whether they're good on policy and should be president, just sound better. We need a higher standard for these people. There are significant issues I disagree with RFK about, but this was a cool moment nonetheless. A major litmus test for any presidential candidate should be whether they are willing to talk with Joe Rogan for hours.

“We spent $16 trillion on the lockdowns. We got nothing for it. $8 trillion on the Ukraine war. That’s $24 trillion that they had to print to pay for nothing. That money, the way they’re paying it back, it’s a hidden tax called inflation, and it hits the poor and the middle class” “We need to stop being an empire” When’s the last time you heard a Democrat coherently explain the harms of printing money and empire-building?

Before my generation even cared about Donald Trump politically, we were watching Thomas Massie and Ron Paul clips on YouTube, like this one from 2015, where Thomas Massie voted to force a debate on Obama sending troops to Iraq and Syria The reality is that they hate Massie because he has a longer track record of being more consistent and more America First than they are This also explains the generational divide on Massie, because younger generations have been able to track these votes with new media while everyone else was waiting to hear what Sean Hannity had to say about him

TUCKER CARLSON TO TED CRUZ: “You asked me why I am obsessed with Israel three minutes after telling me that when you first ran for Congress you elucidated one of your main goals which was to defend Israel, and I am the one who is obsessed with Israel—I don't see a lawmaker’s job as defending the interest of a foreign government. Period . . . . that does not make me an antisemite, and shame on you for suggesting otherwise.”

Dave Smith tells Dinesh D’Souza that Conservative Inc. conserved nothing: “By the time I came around—this is how much had been conserved—the debate was over whether my 4-year-old boy oughta be turned into a girl. That’s what I inherited. That’s how good you guys did—but what I did also inherit was $39 trillion in debt and an ocean filled of the blood of innocents.”

Dave Smith says Ben Shapiro has to debate Nick Fuentes now, but won't because he knows he will lose: “He won't do it, same way he won't debate me, and the reason is because he doesn't think he can win it . . . the reason he can't win the debate, even though Nick is taking the most unpalatable positions you could imagine, it's because Ben Shapiro is taking an even more fucked up position supporting Israel doing what they're doing now”

A year ago, Donald Trump had all the cultural energy. Today, he told House Republicans they must win the midterms to avoid his impeachment and asked “what the hell’s going wrong with the mind of the public” Dave Smith and Theo Von discuss how he split the base

The most important part of the CNN town hall tonight: “Do you want Ukraine to win this war?” “I don't think in terms of winning and losing. I think of getting it settled so we stop killing all these people.” Control of the Donbas is not our business, and it is not worth risking WWIII or nuclear war. This is the the obviously correct stance.

Tucker Carlson responds to Ben Shapiro on Dave Smith’s show: “This was always going to happen … it was inevitable because the consensus itself was fake, and now we’re getting into what Ben Shapiro used to celebrate, that fabled marketplace of ideas, and he’s going to go bankrupt in that marketplace because there is very little support for his position” Dave adds that the non-interventionist position has always been the most popular, to the point that Woodrow Wilson, FDR, LBJ, Bush, Obama and Trump all ran and won on it: “The idea that the consensus is that we must topple the secular dictator in Syria because that will break up the Shiite Crescent and therefore Iran can’t get weapons to Lebanon [as Ben Shapiro celebrated], I mean, what planet do you people live on? It’s all fake.”
