🧠 It’s Dementia Action Week — and we’re proud to be sharing some powerful stories of our Music in Mind programme all week long. To start things off, here’s a special message from Mayor Andy Burnham ☕ You might have heard of our free Music Cafés. They support people living with dementia and their carers, using music therapy to bring moments of joy by making music together. Our work is underpinned by over 10 years of research and evidence from The University of Manchester. 🔍 We’re looking for more people to get involved in our Music in Mind programme that continues to expand across all boroughs of Greater Manchester. ❓ Do you know someone living with dementia? Can you give a couple of hours a week to become a music champion?
