Since tick season is upon us, I thought I’d share the tool I use for tick removal. It’s called the Tick Key. It’s super easy to use, as I demonstrate in the video. I’d rather be prepared with a proper removal tool than MacGyver removing a tick with tweezers and risk not getting the whole tick out, which can cause more problems afterward. After removal, it’s always a good idea to clean the area and keep an eye on it for any irritation or symptoms. Stay safe out there this season!🌿

You’re witnessing a monarch caterpillar’s very first meal. Moments after hatching, it eats its eggshell, packed with nutrients that give it the best possible start before moving on to milkweed. Nature never ceases to amaze me! 🐛✨

Have you ever actually heard a monarch caterpillar eat? 🐛💚 Turn your volume up and enjoy a few seconds of nature’s own ASMR as this little one munches on fresh milkweed. It’s amazing how something so tiny can make such a satisfying sound!

I only caught the very end of the molt, but watching this monarch caterpillar wriggle free from its old skin was still incredible! Monarch caterpillars go through 5 stages of growth, shedding their skin between each stage before finally forming their chrysalis. Nature is awesome!🐛✨
