Despite claims made by the German press, Taleb Al Abdulmohsen is not an ex-Muslim atheist, nor is he a fan of the AfD or Elon Musk. While he may have spread this misinformation himself, it aligns with the practice of Taqqiye, an Islamic doctrine that permits lying and deception to advance Islamic objectives. In reality, he is a radical Shia Muslim, as evidenced by his name and numerous tweets and chat leaks circulating on Arabic-speaking platforms like X. Disturbingly, his plans to carry out mass killings of Germans were brought to the attention of German authorities by a Saudi woman. Tragically, the police ignored her warnings. Ich bin im Iran aufgewachsen. Deshalb sehe ich Ashura nicht als harmlose Folklore. Wenn Kinder schon im Grundschulalter stundenlang an Trauerprozessionen für imaginäre Gestalten teilnehmen, mit Ketten marschieren und von klein auf mit Märtyrertum, Blut und Leid sozialisiert werden, prägt das ihr Weltbild nicht gerade positiv oder lebensbejahend. Die Prozession im Video ist noch eine zensierte Version. Gebt einmal „Ashura Lebanon“, „Ashura Pakistan“ oder „Ashura Bloody“ ein und schaut euch die unzensierten Selbstverletzungsrituale an, die im Nahen Osten veranstaltet werden. Eine morbide Kultur, die Leiden sakralisiert und die Welt in absolute Kategorien von Gut und Böse aufteilt, fördert ein extremes Schwarz-Weiß-Denken statt Empathie und kritischem Denken. Genau diese Symbolik wurde von der Islamischen Republik über Jahrzehnte hinweg genutzt, um Generationen für Opferbereitschaft, Märtyrertum und ideologischen Gehorsamkeit zu mobilisieren. Um diese Rituale zu verstehen, muss man auch die islamische Eschatologie kennen. Nach klassischen islamischen Überlieferungen kehrt Jesus, den Muslime ʿĪsā nennen, am Ende der Zeit zurück. Er zerbricht das Kreuz, tötet das Schwein und hebt die Jizya auf – die islamische Kopfsteuer, die historisch von nichtmuslimischen Schutzbefohlenen erhoben wurde –, weil nach dieser Vorstellung nur noch der wahre Glaube, der Islam, herrscht. In der Zwölferschia unterstützt Jesus zudem den Mahdi und betet hinter ihm – ein symbolischer Ausdruck dafür, dass der Mahdi die führende Gestalt der Endzeit ist. Was die theologisch und kulturell mangelhaft gebildeten westlichen Steigbügelhalter der Islamisten – darunter häufig sogar Kirchenvertreter – ignorieren, ist, dass diese Eschatologie keine religiöse Koexistenz beschreibt, sondern den endgültigen Triumph des Islam über andere Religionen. Nach den klassischen Überlieferungen endet die Geschichte nicht im Pluralismus, sondern in der suprematistischen Herrschaft des Islams. Zusammen mit dem Märtyrerkult von Kerbela bildet diese Endzeiterwartung einen zentralen Bestandteil des religiösen Weltbildes, das die Islamische Republik seit Jahrzehnten politisch instrumentalisiert. Zwar lehnen Sunniten Selbstgeißelungsrituale überwiegend ab; die grundlegende Endzeiterwartung – die Rückkehr Jesu, die Zurückweisung zentraler christlicher Glaubensvorstellungen und der endgültige Triumph des Islam – wird jedoch sowohl von Sunniten als auch von Schiiten geteilt. Die Unterschiede betreffen vor allem die Rolle des Mahdi. Beide Traditionen münden letztlich in die Vorstellung einer kompromisslosen islamischen Vorherrschaft. Es ist ein dunkles Weltbild, das den Tod als Erlösung und Belohnung verklärt, während es das irdische Leben abwertet. Nur wer hier widerspruchslos gehorcht und leidet, wird später belohnt. Und genau darin liegt der destruktive Kern dieser Ideologie. Am Ende müssen wir uns auch fragen: Wenn genau diese religiös-politischen Vorstellungen weiter gepflegt werden – warum suchen ihre Anhänger ausgerechnet im Westen Schutz? Vor wem fliehen sie eigentlich?

I disagree—respectfully but fundamentally. I genuinely admire her courage and moral clarity, especially given the social cost of such a stance. However, this darkness can't be reduced to the Muslim Brotherhood as though it were an external aberration. The Brotherhood isn't an alien mutation; it's an expression of ideas that are already embedded in Islamic doctrine. To pretend otherwise is to treat symptoms while ignoring the disease. One of the most persistent fallacies in Western discourse is the conflation of moderate Muslims with moderate Islam. This confusion is not only intellectually lazy but politically dangerous. Yes, the overwhelming majority of Muslims live peacefully despite, not because of, the foundational texts. Many Muslims are morally better than Muhammad and distance themselves from the more violent and supremacist prescriptions. But it doesn't mean Islam is a peaceful doctrine. Islam is a comprehensive civilizational system—legal, political, and social (Sharia)—explicitly tilted toward expansion and dominance, as mandated in the Quran and Hadiths. As long as this doctrinal core remains unreformed, its most pathological expressions will continue to re-emerge, under different names. Condemning Islamist terror while shielding Islamic doctrine from scrutiny may feel compassionate, but essentially, it is dishonest and protects the very ideology that makes such evil endlessly reproducible.
