Yeah, that was me who culture jammed Fox News live on air. While shootings of any kind are terrible and it’s important to inform the public about a potential danger—cable news always exploits tragedies in order to keep viewers glued to their screens and fill the airtime with anything available to them. In this case, some random caller whose name and identity they didn’t even bother to verify before putting on air as someone who supposedly knows what really happened.

Elon Musk confirms the Trending List was highly manipulated in order to artificially drive news cycles around specific topics (and to suppress others) under Twitter's previous ownership. But he didn't mention any specifics about which topics were manually inserted or shadow-banned from Trending. Can Michael Shellenberger Matt Taibbi or others release another batch of the Twitter Files containing internal conversations of the editors and executives to shed some light on this? Elon Musk That's a powerful propaganda tool which was obviously used, and the American people should know the specific details about this to get a more comprehensive view of how the platform was covertly used to shape the culture and news cycles.
