Tristan Thompson explains how he invested in Anthropic “It was a buddy of mine in Silicon Valley… just going to a couple of these dinners they were doing with the NBA, sitting there talking to these guys and really picking their brains” “They were telling me about the future of AI and technology… I was like hey man, I like what you’re talking about” “It was a bunch of SF guys and everyone kept telling me, so I was like alright man, here’s a check. I wanna get in the game” “From there they just opened up so much for me. I was able to get in early through SPVs and bring in my other buddies to make a bigger check”

FaZe Banks teaches us a lesson in attention and clip-farming. He intentionally paused stream and created a fabricated story about trader Kimchi and knew it would go viral. The story became a global TikTok trend with creators like StableRonaldo, Lacy and TJR hopping on. The clips surpassed 20M views internally and the trend Banks started is in the 100's of MILLIONS of impressions across all platforms and channels. Masterclass.

FaZe Banks tells the story of recently going to dinner with Kimchi in LA. “Kimchi ate a piece of chocolate cake and drank tap water. Myself, TJR and Zach enjoyed a legitimate real meal.” “Then walks in the most random cast and crew. It was Sky Bri, Michael Porter Jr., and Steiny (from NELK).” “Steiny’s like, ‘Oh, is this the Kimchi guy?’ And they’re all freaking the fuck out. He’s just sitting there like, ‘Hey man, nice to meet you.’ He’s so nonchalant about it.” “It felt like the meme. It felt like a fake story. Then we walked out, jumped into the Maybach and dipped off.”

WE NEED MORE COOL CRYPTO EVENTS Ansem: "we should do more cool crypto events" Banks: "yeah actual cool ones. Even hearing you say 'crypto event' makes me want to stay home" Luca: "If I was Solana CMO I'd take a quarter million dollars in Solana, bring everybody together for a basketball tournament. Top team makes $250K, Solana sponsored, logos everywhere" Ansem: "Solana basketball tournament. Let's make this happen right now. I feel like we can manifest that. And we get Polymarket to run the markets on it"

Ansem: Ethereum is going to zero Ansem: “I think it’s gonna go to $1,000 in the next year or so” Banks: “So fair to say if you’re in a coma for the next 10 years, you’re putting your money in just about anything over Ethereum?” Ansem: “Literally anything”

Ansem shares his thesis on near:native “So NEAR is focusing on the two areas in crypto that are getting attention, privacy and also AI” “One of the theses around NEAR is it being a platform for agents to transact on” “KYC laws make it really difficult for AI agents to transact on traditional rails because all of the banking laws that exist are tailored for humans” “As we’re rewriting the systems of how we’re gonna transact on a day to day basis, crypto obviously is one of the platforms that’s gonna be able to benefit agents because you won’t need KYC to transact on blockchains”

Erik Voorhees explains how Venice's dual token model actually works "You can stake 100 VVV to get pro access to Venice. We take a bunch of our revenue, buy the token, and burn it" "We want to take that to its extreme and try to buy every last token we can and burn it all" "You lock up VVV to mint DIEM. Each DIEM you hold gives you $1/day to use on any AI model you want" "We built it so AI agents could hold an asset and get marginally free inference" "It changes the economic calculation. We thought that'd be an interesting design space to explore"

Cirrus explains the trade that let him quit his job "I started out mostly in NFTs. I took a really small ETH balance to a big one by essentially just playing the spread on NFTs" "What most people were doing during that time was chasing the new hot collection, trying to buy a bunch of it and ride it up. I was just playing this huge spread that was in NFTs, mostly because OpenSea was the only place you could trade them" "There's like a 10% spread plus a 5% royalty fee you had to pay. So I would buy on OpenSea at the bid, go into these Discords and sell OTC for 15% a couple dozen times a day" "It quickly compounded my bankroll up. That's what led me to quit my job and do crypto full time"

Ansem shares his thesis on $VVV “Venice AI is essentially a private inference platform… you can access all of the top state-of-the-art models, all the best open source models but through Venice, it doesn’t store any of your information” “They’ve done really well. They have over 2 million users. I think they have 50k daily actives on their app and they’re making money from the subscription” “One of the cool features of Venice that I thought was interesting is they have a second token that’s called DIEM… if you have 1 DIEM, you get to use $1 of compute per day for that 1 DIEM that you have” “It’s a really interesting model. I think it’s honestly attracted a lot of people to stake $VVV. We don’t have a lot of real protocols there in the crypto and AI space that aren’t vapor and are actually doing well”

Ansem: Zcash is Swiss banking in your pocket “Instead of having to look at different bank accounts and different places to store your wealth, Zcash allows you to have access to that at any point in time and take it with you anywhere” “If you have a billion dollars in Bitcoin and send somebody $100, anybody you sent that to now knows you have a billion dollars in Bitcoin” “If you have a billion dollars in Zcash and send somebody $100, they don’t know how much you have in your actual address” “That’s the core reason I think Zcash differentiates from Bitcoin” “In my opinion, Zcash is the second best store of value behind Bitcoin. Right now it trades at around a $7B market cap, so I think it has a lot of room to do well and a lot of room to grow” “In 2016, Bitcoin was around $200 and now it trades at $80,000. In 2016, Zcash was around the same price it is right now…”
