My name is Mary Peltola, and I'm running for U.S. Senate to fight for fish, family, and freedom – and that begins with fixing the rigged system in DC that’s shutting down Alaska. We need systemic change if we're going to fill our homes with abundance again.

I’m so excited to kick off my village tour! I’ll be in Toksook Bay and Kasigluk today, then St. Mary’s, Pilot Station and Hooper Bay on Friday, and Chevak and Scammon Bay on Saturday. From the Aleutians to the Arctic, I want every Alaskan to be part of this. See you out there!

I grew up on these waters. I’m fighting to make sure future generations can too.

David Attenborough has spent years sounding the alarm on factory trawling, and he’s right: bottom trawling is one of the most destructive practices in our oceans. Alaska needs leaders willing to stand up to the trawling lobby and protect our fisheries before it’s too late.

We’ve got to enact term limits. We’ve got to stop the insider trading. We’ve got to stop the ability for politicians to line their own pockets.

Rural tour day ✌️ was a lovely day in St. Mary’s!

Coming from a small Yup’ik village on the Kusko, it’s hard not to nerd out over the largest collection of Yup’ik artifacts in the world! If you haven’t been yet, I highly recommend taking the trip to Quinhagak and visiting the Nunalleq Culture and Archaeology Center. You won’t regret it!

The realities of campaigning in rural Alaska in the winter... our team took off then turned around and circled Bethel because the fog was too dense. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to Kasigluk today, but I will be there soon!

Such a great turnout in Scammon Bay! It was the last stop of the first leg of our village tour, with many more stops to come. Every village, every voter! ✈️🛶🛷
