TROPICAL UPDATE: Northeasterly shear (white wind streams) and dry air have made development slow for Tropical Depression #2. You can see how it's not verticially aligned, with the circulation at 20,000 ft displayed south of the surface circulation. With that said, it's trying to become better organized with persistent storms flaring up on the southern side. If trends continue, we could see #Bertha by later today.

#BREAKING: New video of a (likely) tornado today at the Keystone Heights Airport, 25 miles northeast of Gainesville, Florida. Right now the National Weather Service NWS Jacksonville has this in as a funnel cloud because you technically can't see ground contact, but I suspect this will be investigated. Michael Potapow, who took the video, said he saw grass and leaves being launched up into the funnel. My vote is tornado, but the NWS has the final say.
