A majority backed the no-confidence motion in Paul Givan He has disgraced his office but as predicted the DUP used their veto to block censure. But I'm pleased that the Assembly then backed an SDLP Opposition motion to make it easier to sanction rulebreaking ministers.

When you ask DUP and SF ministers about the status of the Casement Park, they use the exact same inane words. "We stand ready". In reality they are standing still and doing nothing. Despite extra money from Dublin and London, the project is in limbo and Gaels are being failed.

Bear with me on this. In March, Sinn Féin and the DUP blocked our efforts on Assembly reform (ie ending the collapse veto) by saying an obscure Stormont committee named AERC needed to examine it first. Today they came together to block AERC starting work on it. Shameless.
