I fell in love with Minneapolis during the Twin Cities Marathon, and it was a full-circle moment to send the runners off this morning. Not a more beautiful place in America for a run than Minneapolis.

Every student deserves to walk into school feeling confident and ready to take on the day. Incredible experience to join Shoes That Fit and see the difference a brand-new pair of shoes can make for Minneapolis kids.

Let this lame-ass racist rally fall flat and fade into irrelevance. Don’t give these people the satisfaction of a response, the confrontation they’re hoping for, or the spectacle they came looking to create.

When you come for one of us, you come for all of us. We stand with our immigrant neighbors.

CAVA chose Minneapolis for its first Minnesota storefront and we couldn’t be more proud to be their 500th overall store. I stopped by this week to welcome the team and check out their new location near the University of Minnesota. Make sure to go check it out!

Today, we lost another Minneapolis neighbor after multiple ICE agents pummeled him and shot him to death. How many more people need to die or get shot before this ends? President Trump, I am calling on you to put the American people and this American city first & get ICE out.

Uptown isn’t just coming back. It is back! Arizona Taco is a new restaurant on Lake Street with an incredible rooftop, dance floor, tamale classes, and much more. Make sure to go check it out!

Emergency rental assistance is on the way!

Southside Minneapolis has a history worth celebrating, and today’s Southside Back in the Day Festival brought that history to life. 🎉

Minneapolis residents have shown the world who we are—resilient, welcoming, and proud of this city. Now it’s time to come see it for yourself. Grab a meal by the lake, spend a day in our parks, explore our neighborhoods—and experience the spirit that makes Minneapolis special.

The Trump admin will tell you ICE is here for safety. That is a lie. They are creating chaos and danger while tearing families apart. Enough. We want them out.

This is happening right inside City Center in Downtown Minneapolis. MODE Fest transformed a familiar space with immersive media art, projection, movement and large-scale light installations. So cool to experience it firsthand.
