I understand this is just college banter, but in the context of such a tragedy, these jokes come across as anything but humorous. While I understand the intent to promote brotherhood between India and Pakistan in the UK, especially with large numbers of Indian and Pakistani students sharing college spaces and interacting regularly, doing so in this manner feels deeply distasteful and offensive. The Indian lad needs to be extremely cautious about what he’s doing under the guise of humor.

If India is like this, why do most foreign content creators only focus on the negative side when coming to India? The answer is simple: shock value. It gets views. Indians are thriving across the globe, holding powerful and influential positions - and that success often invites efforts to undermine the country. I’m not claiming India is perfect or the best, but it is unique and beautiful in its own right. I think it’s high time the government should start taking action against those who come to India solely to insult or demean it for views.
