Ayham Nasman, the sole survivor of his immediate family, returned to find his father, mother, and three siblings killed after an Israeli strike hit their residential apartment in Gaza's Al-Nasr neighborhood. Ayham survived because he was not inside the apartment when it was struck. The video shows him standing over the bodies of his family in the aftermath. The attack comes amid Israel's ongoing genocide on Gaza, during which over 70,000 Palestinians have been killed and much of the territory has been turned to rubble.

Egyptian fans took to the streets of Astoria, Queens, after Egypt's 3-1 FIFA World Cup victory over New Zealand, with crowds waving flags, chanting, singing and celebrating late into the night. Astoria, home to one of the largest Egyptian communities in the United States, is often nicknamed "Little Egypt", and videos from the area showed jubilant scenes as supporters marked a major result for the national team. The win boosted Egypt's position in Group G and turned parts of Astoria into an impromptu street celebration, with cars sounding horns and fans gathering outside cafes and businesses to celebrate.

Israeli settlers attacked a CNN news crew, journalists and activists during a visit to Sinjil in the occupied West Bank, smashing a vehicle's windshield, hurling stones at the convoy and attempting to slash a tyre. The group had travelled with Kamel Musallet to the site where his son, Saif Musallet, was killed by Israeli settlers one year ago. As they left the area, the settlers chased their vehicles back towards the town, forcing them to flee. A journalist at the scene said the shattered windshield demonstrated the extreme danger Palestinians face when trying to access land that has been occupied by Israeli settlers since last April, warning the consequences could have been even more deadly had Palestinians attempted to return to their own land.

A British woman was stopped by police at a train station and told she was under investigation after a passenger on a train reported feeling uncomfortable and alleged she had made comments referencing the Holocaust. Police said they had received a text message alleging she had denied the Holocaust, and subsequently tracked her down and told her she was being investigated for a "racially aggravated public order" offence. The woman, Fiona Rose Diamond, an activist with anti-Zionist views, said she was expressing political views about the political ideology Zionism. She said she had just returned from an oncology appointment in London when she was met by British Transport Police at the station. She also said she believed the timing and circumstances were not a coincidence. The activist argued that anti-Zionism is increasingly being deliberately conflated with antisemitism in order to silence criticism of Israel and suppress dissenting political views in Britain. "I am more than entitled to hold beliefs about a political ideology," she said in the video, adding that her grandfather was Jewish. The incident has sparked renewed debate over free speech in the UK.

Al-Aqsa could be on the verge of changing forever. For decades, Al-Aqsa Mosque has been administered by the Islamic Waqf under Jordan's custodianship. A reported US-Israeli proposal could change that. The plan would replace the Waqf with a new Israeli-created body, officially allow large-group Jewish prayer, and give Israel greater influence over the site's administration.

"For 45 days I was blindfolded and on my knees." A Palestinian man from Gaza who was detained by Israeli forces explains his ordeal of being tortured under Israeli captivity. Ibrahim Mohammad Khaleel al-Shaweesh, who was released in a very poor state of health, says Israeli forces used all forms of torture, including electricity and dogs. He says that at one stage he was blindfolded, shackled and on his knees for 45 days.
