RAF Fairford arrests: Some media commentators and certain politicians have been salivating at the potential opportunity to stoke division based on race, ethnicity, religion. Check yourself. Be decent. Aim for unity.

Not only is Zia Yusuf lacking any compassion, he is a rude human being. We do not need people like him in British politics.

I’m pleased the shadow Home Secretary is safe - but I have to say - it’s ridiculously tedious that the Tories continue to lecture us on illegal migration. 👇

Nick is lying through his teeth here. Gulpy got it wrong, and so have you. The embarrassment behind the shadow home sec today was awkward for us all. This Tory chancer seems to have forgotten he removed the powers when working as an adviser in the Home Office. Clearly he was too busy removing police from our streets to read the details of a bill he was supposedly drafting.

After receiving a number of emails recently about the flag not flying over Dover, I’m proud to say - it is. What an honour to raise the flag at Dover Castle today 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

It’s right that the £5million donation to Nigel Farage is properly investigated. It’s a life changing sum of money something like a lottery win!

Last week I went on an amateur YouTube channel to discuss a number of issues , including Israel Palestine. They kept making a big fuss, saying to me: “we don’t edit and always show the whole interview”. Unfortunately that was very creative with the truth. They edited what on their own could be controversial comments - released them - and kept the full interview behind a paywall. This sort of behaviour is a part of the problem. To be clear: I only need to talk to Jewish people about whether something is antisemitic. If you have the chance to watch the full interview (don’t pay, hopefully they will release it) you will see me repeatedly calling for peace, a two state solution and equality for all. And you will see why I have referred the Green Party to the EHRC - the motion itself is a part of that reason.

Recently I met with migrant care workers again, because talking to people impacted by our policy is important and helps make sure the right decisions are made. Care workers should be exempt from retrospective settlement extensions.

The Home Secretary was clear today; we must identify and address any links between ethnicity, religion and culture - and child rape. We won’t turn away from this. Victims come first.

Concerns around illegal migration are not racist. I’ve said that many times. But what we saw today in Dover is against our laws and not fair on residents.

An independent, threat led decision needs to be made on Prince Harrys security - and that decision must stand up to scrutiny. The silence and lack of decision is unacceptable. Get on with it. 👇📹

The vast majority disagree with the methods used this morning in Dover. Balaclavas, intimidation and blocking vital roads are not welcome and it has well and truly backfired. I’ll always stand up for my constituents like Cathy and Marion. 👇

I’m ever so proud of what Dover and Deal has done for our great country. Tapp into History, will take you to the historical sites within my constituency to give you a feel of what it was like back then, using Ai. Starting with the iconic White Cliffs of Dover. Don’t just pass through Dover, there is so much to see!
