The American people cherish our relationship with Israel. But today there are loud voices in social media, on both the right and the left, that like to talk down the US-Israel relationship. Voices on the progressive left have actually questioned U.S. support for Israel for decades. But the vast majority of Americans, are grateful for U.S. support for Israel and Israel’s support for us. 🇺🇸🇮🇱

There would be no more fitting tribute to Senator Lindsey Graham than for the Congress to take up that Russian Sanctions bill, put it on the President’s desk and have President Trump Sign it into Law. Lindsey knew who we were dealing with in Vladimir Putin. Now is the Time to fulfill Lindsey Graham’s vision, stand with Ukraine by passing those Tough New Sanctions and put the Russians back on their heels!🇺🇸🇺🇦

According to language that has been reported about MOU with Iran, there is: 🔴 NO mention of dismantling the nuclear program or the ballistic missile program. 🔴 NO commitment to ending support for Hamas, Hezbollah, or other terrorist organizations But remarkably, the MOU with Iran reportedly includes: 🔴Immediate sanctions relief from the moment the MOU is signed. This means $3 BILLION a month into the coffers of Iran. 🔴A pledge of $100 billion in Iranian frozen assets being freed up based only on “progress” in negotiations 🔴The U.S. & others to arrange for a $300 billion reconstruction fund for Iran. The reported MOU with Iran smacks of the kind of appeasement that we saw during the Obama years, the kind of appeasement that Joe Biden tried to accomplish and was ignored by the Iranians, and the kind of appeasement we categorically rejected during the first Trump administration.

President Trump deserves great credit for making a decision for the first time in modern history to unleash the armed forces of the United States against Iran last year and this year… But I do have very real concerns about the MOU now that we see what’s In it and also what’s Not In It. This MOU with Iran does smack of the kind of appeasement that our administration rejected in the Obama-Iran nuclear deal and also when Joe Biden attempted to return to the politics of appeasement during his administration. I would urge the President to take a step back, continue the blockade and pursue a negotiated settlement that commits Iran to dismantling their nuclear program, dismantling this missile program, ends support for terrorist proxies and opens the strait. Failing that, we should let our Armed Forces finish the job on our terms.

On this fifth anniversary of January 6th, I wanted to pass along remarks I made about that fateful day at the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award ceremony last year. I first spoke about the men and women in uniform- the true heroes that day; how I will always believe that, by God’s grace, I did my duty to see to the peaceful transfer of power under the Constitution and I expressed my heartfelt gratitude to the countless Americans of every background who have reached out with a word of encouragement these past five years. January 6 was a tragic day but it became a triumph of freedom when, after Capitol Police quelled the violence, leaders in both chambers in both political parties reconvened the very same day and finished democracy’s work under the Constitution. The Constitution is the common ground on which we stand. In these divided times, I believe more than ever that on that common ground we will forge a boundless future together and America’s best days are yet to come. So Help Us God. I don’t know why Joe Biden is doing press conferences in the Rose Garden talking about something other than America’s role as leader of the free world. If I was President of the United States, I’d have the team in the Situation Room and direct the Joint Special Operations Command to stand up special forces and have them immediately be prepared to deploy into Gaza.

I strongly supported the President’s decision to take the fight directly to the Mullahs in Tehran last year and then again this year. The President has earned some latitude in negotiating an end to hostilities but I just don’t trust the Iranians. And I don’t be like what I’m hearing about the MOU... it smacks of appeasement.

Following his historic decision to strike Iran this year and last summer, President Trump has earned the latitude to try to put together a negotiated peace. I don’t want to prejudge this. We’re all hopeful, but I just don’t trust the Iranians. For 47 years, this regime has breathed Death to Israel and Death to America. Unless we see Iran completely and verifiably dismantle its nuclear program, its ballistic missile program and renounce support of terrorist proxies, I believe we should unleash our Armed Forces to finish the job. 🇺🇸

For all of my life, the Republican Party has been defined by a commitment to a conservative agenda, to America as leader of the free world, limited government, free market economics and traditional moral values, especially the right to life. I'm proud to say that from the Reagan administration to the first Trump administration, we governed on that agenda. But I wrote "What Conservatives Believe," because just in the last four or five years, there's been a rise of what I call the populist right that focuses more on what we're against than what we're for, focuses more on grievance than a positive conservative agenda.

Senator Lindsey Graham was very Clear-Eyed about our Allies and our Enemies. There has been no stronger voice opposing that brutal Russian invasion in Ukraine, standing with Israel, standing up to Iran and his voice will be missed. At home he was someone who really knew how to forge solutions. When we got that border wall done, he was a great champion. Without Lindsey Graham, I do not know if Justice Brett Kavanaugh would be on the Supreme Court of the United States today. For me personally, his unwavering commitment to the Sanctity of Human Life throughout those years and every day since will always be to his enduring credit. God Bless Lindsey Graham🇺🇸

I joined the Republican Party because of the principles articulated by Ronald Reagan. Strong defense. Limited government. Traditional values. Today those principles are challenged not only by the left, but from within. It is time to reaffirm what has defined the conservative movement for generations. Preorder today:
