Highlights brought to you by Rozzi Fireworks. Moeller started off their postseason run with a bang, as they scored a program record 25 runs in a 25-0 win over Western Hills. The offense exploded for 18 hits, including 6 extra base hits, which included 3 home runs. Matt Ponatoski led the team with 6 RBIs, one off from tying the program record in a game, going 3-3 with 2 home runs and a double. Might be the only Crusader in history to hit two home runs in a single inning (can’t verify). Jackson Porta also had 3 hits, going 3-3 himself. He also added on 3 RBIs on the day. Will Schirmer went 3-5, also registering 3 RBIs, an inside the park home run, and got a triple. Connor_Fuhrer threw a complete game 1 hitter. Connor didn’t walk a single batter for the second time this season, and he struck out 7, which ties for his career high.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Luke Pappano This is Luke’s 3rd year on varsity where he has been a dominant two way force. Luke has an incredible 1.382 ERA in his 11 appearances on the mound, a 9-0 record, and has hit 0.384 across 151 AB’s. This includes hitting 0.431 this season, which is 2nd in the GCL. Luke is currently uncommitted. Congrats Luke!

Highlights brought to you by Rozzi Fireworks ICYMI: In his first game pitching since May 5, 2023, Moeller Senior Luke Pappano throws his first career no hitter as the Crusaders beat Ryle 10-0 in 5 innings. Luke finished with 4 K’s and only 1 walk, facing 16 batters. It’s the 31st no hitter in Moeller history. At the plate, the Crusaders were balling. Moeller had 10 hits in the 5 innings with all Crusaders reaching on base. Highlights brought to you by Rozzi Fireworks Moeller started off their Vegas trip at the All Faiths Classic with a 3-1 over Brophy Prep. Conner Cuozzo led the team with 2 hits, a double and a triple, and 1 RBI. Charlie Valencic went 1-3 with a RBI and Jovan Love had the other RBI, with a solo shot in the top of the 6th. On the mound, Connor_Fuhrer got the start going 5.2 innings, striking out 1 and had a no hitter thru 4. jake came in for the save, striking out 1 in his 1.1 innings. Donovan Glosser ended the game by throwing someone out on a steal.
