This was my very fun commencement address to the Dakshana Foundation scholars Class of 2023 on Dec. 26, 2023 at Dakshana Valley in Pune, India. It was quite extempore as I had spent zero time prepping and had no notes. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

With Charlie's blessings, Dakshana Foundation was able to build the Charles T. Munger Hall and associated infrastructure eight years ago at PM SHRI SCHOOL JNV BANGALORE URBAN in Bengaluru, India in as part of our highly successful 17-year strong public-private partnership with the Government of India. The infrastructure is world-class and we coach 240-288 kids from all across India for the IIT entrance exam at Munger Hall. This brief video gives a nice tour of the facilities. Enjoy!

Rajiv Krishna Omar was a Dakshana Scholar from 2008-10. In 2010 when he took the IIT entrance tests, he ranked 87th (out of 473,000!!). The best of the best! He majored in Computer Science and was quickly snapped up by Google. When he joined Dakshana, his family's income was less than $3/day. He is a L6 engineer at Google in Bengaluru and his annual compensation is over $175,000. This is equivalent in purchasing power to making $650,000 in the US. You may enjoy listening to his story.
