UPA left behind a banking system where stressed assets were buried under restructuring/evergreening. 📌 March 2014: stressed assets = 9.8% of bank advances 📌 AQR exposed the rot → PSB GNPA exploded to 14.58% / ₹8.96 lakh crore in March 2018, resulting out of loans advanced before March 2014. This was the time when every Bharatiya should have lost sleep as our banking system, especially PSBs were on verge of complete collapse. But thankfully, we had Modi Sarkar. 📌 Modi Sarkar brought in IBC + AQR + recapitalisation + recovery reforms. 📌 By March 2026, Creditors had realised ₹4.32 Lakh Crore through IBC resolution plans 📌 PSB GNPA crashed to just 1.93% 📌 PSB NNPA fell to 0.39% And the biggest turnaround? Same PSBs who lost ₹85,371 Crore in FY18 (thanks to UPA-era phone-banking loans)....went on to earn a RECORD ₹1.98 Lakh Crore profit in FY26. PSB business has now crossed ₹283 Lakh Crore.
