When I first became Muslim in 2002, I placed a picture of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah on the wall inside of my prayer room at home, and I would make du‘a asking Allah to bless me to visit Madinah and Makkah one day, alhamdulillah I never imagined years later, that I will be living in Saudi Arabia and with the opportunity to visit both holy places multiple times. I never imagined that one day I would be this close to the Kaaba 🕋 able to touch it without any interruptions, Alhamdulillah It was truly an amazing and humbling experience. I thank Allah for His countless blessings and ask Him to make me among those who are always grateful, repentant and obedient. Standing there, I reflected on where I came from and the many du’as I made over the years, asking Allah to allow me to be part of moments like this. Never did I imagine that I would one day witness the Kiswah replacement ceremony and be so close to the Kaaba. It was a powerful reminder that Allah can open doors and grant blessings in ways we never expect. Calling someone “Wahhabi” as an attack only reflects your ignorance. Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab, may Allah have mercy on him, did not bring anything outside of the Quran and Sunnah, so if you claim otherwise, bring clear proof. Also remember that one of Allah’s attributes is Al-Wahhab, so be mindful of your words, as you might be falling into something a lot more serious and dangerous by mocking Allah’s names and attributes.
