ESU CORRIDORS IMPLEMENTED TO FACILITATE EVACUTION TRAFFIC: FDOT continues to monitor traffic conditions along Emergency Shoulder Use (ESU) routes throughout the state as residents evacuate from #HurricaneMilton’s projected path. Although traffic is heavy and at slower speeds, traffic is still flowing and moving as intended. With both directions open to motorists on these corridors, we can ensure that supplies, emergency services, and utility crews can make their way to potentially-impacted areas – an important benefit for this type of evacuation traffic pattern. Please continue to use to know real-time traffic conditions and view traffic cameras.
