Strategic infrastructure is laying the foundation for economic growth in Kogi State. During the Renewed Hope National Media Tour, the delegation inspected the ongoing flyover bridge at Kabba Junction on the Lokoja–Benin Expressway. Beyond easing congestion, the project will improve the movement of people and goods, reduce travel delays, and support trade and economic activities along one of Nigeria’s key interstate highways. The Kogi State Commissioner for Works, Barrister Salami Ozigi Dedaat, explained that the Abuja-Lokoja highway had been in a very deplorable condition due to being abandoned by past administrations but has now been earmarked for completion by President Bola Tinubu. The road has been divided into five different sections, each awarded to a different contractor to speed up its early completion. The Renewed Hope National Media Tour continued in Imo State with an inspection of the ANOH Gas Project (Assa North–Ohaji South Gas Project), one of Nigeria's largest natural gas developments and a flagship project under the Federal Government's Decade of Gas Initiative. Located in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area, the project is designed to boost domestic gas supply, improve electricity generation, support industrial growth, reduce gas flaring, and create jobs. Commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in May 2024, the facility has already commenced commercial gas processing and is supplying gas to industries, with operations steadily ramping up towards its full processing capacity of 300 million standard cubic feet of gas per day. The project also provides the energy backbone for the Orashi Special Energy Free Trade Zone, positioning Imo State as a major hub for investment, manufacturing, and gas-based industrialisation in Nigeria. As part of projects inspected at the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Kogi State, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors also inspected the Barefoot Renewable Energy College and the Green Hydrogen Research & Demonstration Pilot Plant established in the university by the Federal Government through the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN). The Renewed Hope National Media Tour in Imo State continued with an inspection of the ongoing reconstruction of the Orlu–Mgbee–Akokwa–Uga Road in Imo West Senatorial District, a federal road being delivered by the Imo State Government through collaboration with the Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration. For years, communities along this corridor were isolated by severe ecological challenges that disrupted movement, threatened livelihoods, and constrained economic activity.
