💔Choco Pie is Dead 💔 The most beautiful dog to ever grace a cage at #NYCACC I will never forget the 1st time I saw him Pouring over his notes Thrilled when he went to an ACC Foster home Devastated when he was returned, horrified to see him Kill Listed This glorious boy Who arrived in all his sociable, playful, loving glory The only dog I ever knew ACC to pay for Aboquel, to nurse through CIRDC, pay for pneumonia treatment. But we broke him. We made him fearful, developed separation anxiety, never fulfilled his needs. We tortured this sublime boy. In & out of homes, in & out of his cage, through it all he was a good boy. His faith in us, unwavering. His belief he was in good hands w/ people who would honor & respect his life. Oh baby boy, you were so wrong😭 I will carry you every day in my memories. Chocolate Cookie Crunch one of the most tragic stories of #NYCACC My avatar to honor this boy I loved from afar

Everytime I post Ruthie, she only gets 47 shares😫 Ruthie is here because life got in the way. They lost their home, could no longer afford to pay the bills. The choice was brutal for all😭 Her family loves her so much💝 Ruthie had 3 kids, her whole life revolved around them. Her🐢 was a present from them & her greatest treasure💕 Ruthie goes through the motions but there is a disconnect, a loss of love that has her reeling. She is not aggressive, she doesn't growl, she just exists💔 Our track record is abysmal w/ #BlackDogs, #Animals from displaced humans. I know the odds are against Ruthie, against us. #NYCACC has her rated as an adult only home. Which is beyond heartbreaking. She is #adoptable. Someday, I hope to see a smile on her beautiful face🙏 #Adopt #Foster Otherwise; Dogs always pay the price😭

Our Beloved Pond Forgive me for addressing this publicily but enough people have commented or sent DM's #Pledges cover #Rescues expenses & overhead #Pledges make #Rescue possible But I have seen dogs killed w/ $7000 Because there was no #Foster or #Adopter #FostersSaveLives There are very few sanctuaries anymore for dogs💔 98% of dogs need a home to go to when they are #Rescued That is the hardest part, finding Heroes who will open their heart & home🙏 All #Rescues search endlessly for #Adopters & #Fosters, think of all the pups that our rescue partners have pulled that still need their furever home😩 Everyday, every networker begs for #Adopters & #Fosters I hope this helps answer all the questions out there.
