Apollo Hospitals has long been recognized as one of the most reputed healthcare institutions in India and globally. Last night, we admitted my grandmother to the Emergency Department at the Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills campus, as her condition is critical. However, I was disappointed to witness the situation in the emergency ward. Patients with various medical conditions are being treated there, and the current state of cleanliness and hygiene raises serious concerns. Such conditions could potentially increase the risk of infections, especially in an environment where vulnerable patients are receiving care. Given Apollo's reputation for excellence in healthcare, I believe this matter deserves the attention of the hospital's senior leadership and management team. I hope the necessary steps will be taken to address these concerns and ensure that the standards expected from a leading healthcare institution are consistently maintained.
