Thanks to FOX 5 NY and Good Day NY for having us to discuss our NYC Housing Investment Initiative --a $4B commitment to finance workforce, mixed-use, and affordable housing across all five boroughs. Financing delays can stall projects for years --or stop them altogether. This is a win-win: tackling the affordability crisis while delivering strong returns for our pension funds. Looking forward to working with our trustees for approval of strategic investments in the coming weeks and months to move this forward.

Just when you thought Donald J. Trump's deportation machine couldn't get any more lawless and cruel, ICE is now changing tactics and arresting people who have been granted asylum hearings. This means that even when the judge is denying the federal government's motion to dismiss + giving asylum seekers a hearing, ICE is still disappearing them DESPITE the judge's ruling. Any pretense of "due process" has been thrown out the window. This is both a violation of US and international law that demands immediate attention from all New York elected officials & underscores the urgent need for legal service providers to be present at all of these cases.
