Incredibly grateful to see these two hero partners both heading home this morning to the cheers of their NYPD 115th Precinct brothers and sisters, just hours after being shot. Thank you Elmhurst Hospital’s nurses, doctors and staff for putting our brothers on the road to recovery.

From the streets he protected, to the place he called home — in the NYPD, no hero travels alone. #FidelisAdMortem

“We have your backs. But I can tell you who doesn’t have your back — our criminal justice system.” Hendry with a message for NYers after our NYPD 103rd Precinct brother and a bystander were shot and injured thanks to a violent repeat offender who had no business being on the streets.

“This is a slap in the face to this family and every New York City police officer who puts on that uniform every day and risks their lives to protect New Yorkers.” PBA President Patrick Hendry blasts the New York State Parole Board for forcing the family of hero P.O. Anthony Dwyer to deliver a THIRD victim impact statement in just over a year. P.O. Dwyer never got a second chance at life, and this cop-killer does not deserve a second chance at freedom.

There is no higher calling than to serve others. P.O. Didarul Islam served selflessly in his life and left an enduring legacy in his death. For answering our call and serving New Yorkers, his fellow officers pledge to carry on his mission and always remember his sacrifice. #FidelisAdMortem

STATEMENT ON POLICE OFFICER SLASHED IN BROOKLYN PBA President Patrick Hendry said: “Thank god our sister is on the road to recovery, but this was a clear targeted attack on New Yorkers City police officers. This individual had no fear when he walked into a police precinct and attacked a uniformed cop — there is no telling what he might have done to innocent New Yorkers out on the street. Despite being injured, our sister pursued this individual along with her fellow police officers, and they stopped the threat before anyone else was hurt. This is another example of the extraordinary work our police officers are doing in an incredibly dangerous environment.”

NYers need to know about the "NYC CCRB Tax": $1,350 for seizing an illegal ATV? $3,250 for ordering an irate individual to stop interfering with an investigation? $6,650 for trying to secure a crime scene? Just some of the penalties cops face for trying to do the job.

39 YEARS TO LIFE for the attempted cop-killer who shot and wounded our 103 Pct. brother, Det. Brett Boller. Judge Kenneth Holder has sent a clear message that should echo in every other courtroom across this city: attacking a police officer will land you in prison for a long, long time.

“We’re praying still, wishing somehow, some way, we could bring Jonathan home…saving people’s lives, helping people — it’s in our DNA, it’s what we do. It’s what Jonathan did, too.” PBA President Patrick Hendry on what P.O. Jonathan Diller’s memory means to his fellow NYC police officers. #FidelisAdMortem

The PBA is proud to endorse Stacey Pheffer Amato because she fights for public safety and the police officers who make it possible. This year, she led the charge to boost benefits for the Finest and help keep cops in our communities. That doesn’t just help us — it helps every single NYer.
