“I visited my community secondary school and saw how poor the learning environment was. I recorded a video and posted it on social media to seek help, asking people to support the school on Sunday, March 1, 2026. Later that afternoon, the Chairman of Ahoada West LGA, Eugene Cheta Epelle, came to my house and accused me of trying to damage his image online. He warned that he wouldn’t take it lightly and would teach me a lesson. Afterward, he sent his brother, and I was assaulted.” — Winnie Miller, the young lady allegedly attacked after sharing photos and videos of the dilapidated secondary school in Ahoada West.
