On matters NHIF Kenya, I have, with immediate effect, suspended all NHIF branch managers in the affected areas, pending a thorough investigation. The Ministry of Health is committed to upholding transparency and accountability within the healthcare sector. Further, I have directed the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council, as well as the Pharmacy and Poisons Board, Pharmacy and Poisons to commence their own investigations into the matter. This collaborative approach will facilitate a thorough examination of the issues at hand and help identify any potential misconduct and/or irregularities.
