Some of the most heartbreaking testimony during the first day of Lindsay Clancy's murder trial was when her former husband, Patrick Clancy, was asked to talk about their three children: Cora (5), Dawson (3), and Callan (8 months). We saw video of the family celebrating at a birthday party and were shown photos of each of the children. Patrick spoke about the morning and afternoon before the kids were killed - that Lindsay took Cora to the doctor, then they built a snowman and everyone was having a really good day. As Patrick testified, Lindsay looked down at the ground and the two made very little eye contact. He has since remarried and is living in New York. Patrick will be back on the stand Wednesday morning as the trial continues. Lindsay Clancy has not denied killing the kids, but says she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and should not be held criminally responsible

Erika Kirk, her friend and others sitting with her dabbed their eyes and wipes away tears after their family attorney addressed Judge Tony Graf today in court. The issue was whether a police interview with Lance Twiggs, Tyler Robinson's roommate and lover, should be played in court. The defense argued no. The prosecution said yes. The debate continued for hours. Before Graf ruled, the Kirk family attorney spoke for the first time. Here's video of what he said. Graf ultimately ruled that part of the video will be shown first thing Thursday morning. We will livestream it on East Idaho News YouTube channel. I was out on a walk this morning and suddenly this guy runs across the road. I was worried he was hurt as his front leg was dragging. Then I look over and see two others behind a fence - one looked like a baby - and their legs were also dragging. Two questions: 1 - is it common to see coyotes out in the open in the Phoenix area? I was in a business development, so it caught me off guard. 2 - do coyotes normally drag one of their legs?
