Party of Royal Marines reservists and 🇳🇱Dutch Korps Mariniers saved the life of a stranded climber on Ben Nevis in extreme conditions (around –15°C with wind chill). Using a bivvy sack, ropes, a mat and a thick jacket the marines improvised a stretcher to haul the casualty down the mountain.

MV Bella 1, now in the GIUK gap (North of Scotland) Vessel sanctioned by US renamed MV Marinera and re-flagged as a 🇷🇺Russian vessel. Poor quality video apparently from the ship shows it being shadowed by 🇺🇸USCG cutter. US and RAF aircraft flying from the UK also monitoring the ship. US media reports Russians have sent a submarine and another vessel to escort the tanker.
