Oh my goodness, what a strip + score from Kaila Charles

Well if we're talking about swing plays in this game, yiiiikes Caitlin

?????????????????????????????????????????????? Paige, why? Jess, why? Dallas why?

Look. At. This. Valkyries. Defense.

i really miss when he could explode in the open floor

Oh, Lonzo! Oh, Lonzo...

Just watch Kiah Stokes

Did the Pacers just run Four Verts

Becky Hammon on: -her view of the first post-ASB practice -managing the rotation in light of the upcoming schedule -best & worst parts of the defense right now -(video 2) Status updates for Cheyenne Parker-Tyus & NaLyssa Smith; neither were on-court when media came in

JAYLEN BROWN. HELLO.

?????????????????????????????

This is such a killer gamble from Stephon Castle. Understood what he saw, but you *have* to be right if you're leaving a *shooter* in the *strong side corner* to do it. He wasn't.

come on, dawg lol

not at all important but i am cracking up at the camera pan to team usa and darn near everyone is on their phone

🚨PRE-FINALS THREAD🚨 The last day & a half has been a blur, but it’s been a blast talking to both teams. Asked Angel how (if at all) the first two rounds (and their front courts) prepared her for the Finals, plus her uptick in rim protection.

LOOK AT THIS DUDE

Zach LaVine has lost his everlasting mind

Becky Hammon on: -her view of the first post-ASB practice -managing the rotation in light of the upcoming schedule -best & worst parts of the defense right now -(video 2) Status updates for Cheyenne Parker-Tyus & NaLyssa Smith; neither were on-court when media came in

Quick chat with A’ja Wilson on: -getting used to Chelsea Gray’s bounce passes -how committed she is to World Cup play in light of the Aces’ schedule -how she decides what/how much to share with the public -return of the leg sleeve

GABBY WILLIAMS. BIG TIME PLAYER. BIG TIME PLAYS. WE ARE TIED WITH 1:50 LEFT

I was NOT kidding about the Mamu grab-and-go thing, by the way. The Raptors generated over 1.2 PPP (!) on trips where Sandro Mamukelashvili 1) grabbed a defensive rebound and 2) brought the ball up. Could attack himself, hit lane-fillers, receive drag screens or flow into DHOs.

If you want a non-Gabby example of why the Valkyries are leading and seemed poised to win this game handedly:

As part of the Dallas Wings' post-draft media availability, I asked head coach Jose Fernandez about Azzi Fudd's potential as an on-ball creator:

Don't really care that this ends in a foul. Please watch Makayla Timpson on this possession.

Please watch 45 seconds of Olivia Miles

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

By trading LaMelo Ball, the Hornets aren't just taking a basketball risk -- they're tempting the soul of the city, too. There are pathways to it working, but they better be sure about this. Touched on that on the latest The Dunker Spot. Full YT:

Some post-practice chatter with A’ja Wilson! -How she’s doing -How she’s decompressing during the season -The Danny Phantom colorway (exclusive…for now?) -Her pregame routine (+ a shoutout to Player Development coach Micah Fraction) -Dirk Fade coming? (2nd video)

Year 1: Most blitzed player in the league Year 2: Blitz rate drops dramatically, switch rate doubles Year 3: blitz *and* switch rate drops, more cat & mouse from the bigs I asked Caitlin Clark how she’s adjusted to the coverages she’s seen.

Safe to say Becky Hammon was not pleased with: -the defense -the lack of ball movement -the lack of free throws

A fun one, got to talk to Aces assistant coach Nola Henry after shootaround today! On her adjustment to Vegas, what a day in her (basketball) life looks like, advice she’s gotten from Becky Hammon, her Unrivaled plans and more:

SWARMING, FLYING, ETC
