The Pima County Sheriff’s Department tells TMZ that in early January, an elderly man reported spotting a trespasser at his Tucson home less than 10 minutes from 84 year old Nancy Guthrie’s house. Investigators are now examining whether that incident is connected to the abduction of Savannah Guthrie’s mother. Unrelated to that, in early December, Pima County authorities were also searching for a man seen peering into apartment windows about 23 minutes from Nancy Guthrie’s home. The individual appeared to pose as a delivery driver and was captured on surveillance video.

Brian Entin reports that neighbors say police have identified January 24 as a date of interest in the Nancy Guthrie case. Earlier, this footage drew little attention as the individual appears to be African American. However with the masks we see criminals using, it may be worth reviewing again. Ring posts from neighbors describe the same man around 4 a.m. on January 24 peering through windows and attempting to open doors at their homes.

This man was captured on Ring footage on 1/23 at 4:19 am MST, where a complainant reported, “This guy came up to the front of my house, looked at my windows, and checked my door,” about four miles from Nancy Guthrie. The FBI said the person of interest from Nancy's porch was about 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 with an average build and did not specify an ethnicity.
