The good news is she started to get color back in her gums and face and even lifted her head. All her vitals calmed down. Yacht, Chu and Dr Kao on our team saved her. She was lucky she was only 30 yards from the hospital (5/6)

For 3 days Gigi the little one eye chihuahua we found dumped in the jungle was on a drip and effectively fighting for her life. You can see just what it means to the team when she stood up for the first time today. We might just be able to give her a little 2nd chance at life

After about 5 months we started seeing Cindy Running for the first time ever. It was at this stage we gave Cindy her forever home. Lana took her in to live with her full time. Cindy still had some weight to lose but walks, beach trips and diet would get her there (5/7)

Mr Big lost his battle today. I suppose we all knew it was coming but it still hits hard. The big gentle giant who we’ve fixed up several times slipped away gently as his options ran out. I’m happy his body can now relax as I think the pain was starting to bother him. I get so many people asking me how to deal with the loss of a dog. It’s one of my most popular DMs. I wish I knew the answer. All I know is I like to think of the positives and the good memories. As time passes you soon realize you were so lucky to be in a dog’s presence. Probably none more so than Mr Big. He was a bundle of fun. Always up for an adventure. Always giving 100%. The sort of dog who just makes you smile non stop. Farewell big guy ❤️

Every dog lover should get to experience this… 🐕 Every morning at 6am I get to feed 80 street dogs. 🥘 We actually cook food for 1300 street dogs daily. It looks like the highlight of their day but it also the best part of my day ❤️

Meet Abe... We had a report of a dog who had been hit by a car seven days ago and I was lucky enough to find him fairly quickly. Catching him was a whole different story. It might look like the dog is moving slowly but he would only approach to with 2 yards and always bolt away. With the leg hanging on it was essential we got him (I did think it was a she at first). Luckily backup arrived and after a long chase we managed to trick him into the closed space of a local shop. That’s when we knew we had him cornered. Despite a few last gasp attempts to lash his way out and showing his teeth we caught him safely and got him into our care with hospital treatment. Local children told us humans had been throwing rocks at him daily to make him go away and that his life long friend had been poisoned. Truly the hardest life imaginable for this big gentle boy. Luckily we’ve got him now and although he will need a very big surgery and months of recovery we will rebuild his life back up. I could see him relaxing today now that he knows we mean no harm. I’m confident with time we can rehab him back up to get the life her deserves. I called him Abraham Lincoln (also very tall). Abe for short. I think Abe is going to be a very special boy and I see nothing but kindness in his eyes. The comeback starts here ❤️

🗑️ He was living in trash and at rock bottom 🪱 The flies had got at his old wounds which had caused very serious heart worm 🐕 He was so small he couldn’t defend himself against bigger dogs 🤒 He had so many things wrong with him that he was so drained and anemic. He wouldn’t have lasted much longer on the streets. Of course we had to call him Rod Stewart with that spiky hairstyle. It turns out he is the gentlest little sweet heart ever. Now that he is fully better he is getting ready for his big trip to his forever home In Ireland 🇮🇪. Just look at the fluffiness on him and his sheer joy in being alive. Some man Rod, some man!

Tank came to us with a huge hernia and internal issues. It was so bad that he couldn't poop / started to lose weight at an extreme rate It took us three operations, six months of rehab, and lots of stress for the vets but going back to see him now 6 months later is priceless ❤️

When we got the footage last night of a big old mamma dog with a large growth on her stomach we knew we needed to drop everything and get her in. 🐶 We know she has been used for breeding dogs her whole life. She was living under a house. 🦷 She was a little reactive and showing her teeth. This is a dog who doesn’t have much trust in humans. I know under it all she is gentle as can be but we have to handle her with extreme care. 🥺 We believe she is in some pain and discomfort from the large growth on her stomach. We think we got her just in time as it could become critical soon. 🏥 We brought her straight into our hospital Happy Doggo and she has been getting tests and treatments all day. We will have a full diagnosis from lab reports asap. I called her Nina Simone. Who knows what the future holds as her health battle has just started today. What I do know is that I’m very very happy we have her and can hopefully help her and show her a life of love and safety. The last time I saw a stomach like that it was Tina’s. I can tell she’s had a tough life. Keep your fingers crossed for Nina ❤️🤞
