My Endless Idea Generator Framework (taught to over 15,000 writers!): I have been writing online since 2007. But I started taking my writing career seriously in 2013, after graduating from Columbia College Chicago. That’s when I committed to building the skill of writing in the digital age, and making my dream of becoming a full-time writer come true. And to take action toward this goal, I forced myself to write one Quora answer per day, every day, for 365 days in a row. • A year later, I was the most-read writer on all of Quora (out of 200 million users). • 2 years later, I had quit my 9-5 job to work for myself as a ghostwriter. • 5 years later, I had built the first ghostwriting agency for founders & executives, selling millions of dollars of ghostwriting services. • And 10 years later, I have since built 9 different $1M+ writing-related businesses, including some of the largest writing programs in the world. Needless to say, I did what I set out to do. And a skill I have acquired, and practiced relentlessly over the past decade, is how to quickly & easily generate high-quality ideas (for myself, as well as for hundreds of clients across every industry imaginable). So that’s what I’m going to share with you here today. After writing thousands and thousands of pieces online—short-form, long-form, essays, newsletters, articles, video scripts, you name it—I have created a framework for myself to ensure I never run out of ideas. And I have taught this framework to over 15,000 writers inside our flagship writing program, Ship 30 for 30:

I recorded my screen writing this 6,500-word essay about how to write with AI. We're entering a new era where, despite having access to these insanely powerful technologies, those who can "do it themselves" will create more compelling content proving they can, and showing how.

5. Live life like it's a video game. • No need to protect your identity • No fear of the opinion of others Urban found all great people (like Elon) live life like a video game and "stay hungry, and foolish" at all times. But are we in a simulation? Here’s Elon’s take:

There is ONE platform that 99% of writers are sleeping on. It's not: • 𝕏 • LinkedIn • Substack • Threads • Bluesky It's YouTube. Across every demographic, it's the MOST consumed form of media. Every writer should be posting video content. And it's easier than you might think. The other day, a writer friend of mine asked me how to get started on YouTube. So, I recorded the advice I gave him (and a room full of highly-paid writers). Give it a watch below. But before you sink the time into creating a YouTube video: • Create content topics • Test those ideas as short-form text social posts • Expand the best ones into longer-form content And then you're ready to record yourself talking over them. Want some help creating endless content ideas that go viral with ease? Click here to use my FREE crash course (and start posting consistently online):
