Terrified, they called their mother and whispered that they could hear voices speaking Arabic and that the door to their home had been broken down. She could still hear her youngest son, Yagil, pleading: "Don't take me. I'm too young." Yagil was held completely alone in captivity and was tortured while being held hostage. Until the final day of their captivity, he believed his brother Or had been murdered. Then, just before their release, the two brothers were reunited. Their father, Yair, was also kidnapped from his home in the kibbutz, together with his partner, Merav. The entire abduction was filmed by the terrorists. Yair was brutally murdered during the kidnapping, and the lynching he endured was also captured on video. In the footage, a three-year-old boy can be seen taking part as his father tells him to kick Yair - and the child does. After 52 days in captivity, Yagil, Or, and Merav were released in a hostage deal. Yair's body was held captive in Gaza for 614 days before it was recovered in a military operation. They had no idea that within minutes, terrorists would arrive and they would be fighting for their lives. Aner kept his cool and did not hesitate. He stood alone at the entrance to the shelter. He knew there was nowhere to run. Armed terrorists were outside. The first grenade was thrown inside - Aner caught it and threw it back out. Then the second. Again and again, with his bare hands. Eight times. One man against a group of armed terrorists - and he stopped them. He stood there protecting the others with his own body, giving his life for them. The ninth grenade exploded. The terrorists continued throwing grenades and then opened fire on the wounded. Almost everyone inside the shelter was murdered. Some were kidnapped to Gaza. A few survived and later told the story of Aner's heroism - heroism that was also captured on the terrorists' own cameras. The terrorists shot Noam, the father of the family. His young daughters, Ella and Dafna, sat there at gunpoint with Dikla and her son Tomer, while the wounded Noam sat beside them, bleeding. They tore Tomer from his mother’s arms and took him with them. At gunpoint, they forced him to go from house to house and try to lure his neighbors outside - so they could be murdered. Tomer refused to cooperate. With incredible presence of mind, he repeatedly told the terrorists that the houses were empty. With unimaginable courage, Tomer stood before his killers - and saved lives. Eventually, the terrorists took Tomer to the Idan family home. There, they murdered 18-year-old Maayan in front of her parents and siblings, held Tomer and the family at gunpoint, and abducted her father, Tzachi Idan, to Gaza. Later, Tomer and his mother, Dikla, were killed during the fighting in Nahal Oz. Noam was murdered on the way to Gaza. Ella and Dafna were abducted to Gaza and later returned in a deal. Tzachi Idan was murdered on the 54th day of captivity. His body was held by Hamas in Gaza for 510 days before it was returned to Israel and identified. Tomer was only 17 - caring, generous, a kind soul, full of life. Remember him for his bravery, his light, and his smile. The truth cannot be erased. Don't you dare forget.

The terrorists had emptied entire magazines into it before entering. The last room in the video is a children's room inside the home's bomb shelter.
