I’m just a simple man trying to make his way in the universe. Chak Lok’s biggest hater 😤😤😤 Also I retweet a lot of cat videos

If E-day isn’t even half as funny as Gears 3 and takes itself too seriously when 3 was probably the series at its most depressing point I’m not going to be a happy camper cause again gears is absolutely hilarious

My biggest worry with E-day it’s going to be a Reach situation where it just isn’t that funny cause Gears is fucking hilarious

“Why do you want gears to have comedy? It’s a gritty series that doesn’t need it” Because it makes moments like this hit harder

I remember the first time I played Gears 4 back when I was 16 this scene almost broke me ngl because of how much time we spent with Marcus prior to this. Like can’t this family ever just catch a break?

Ironically this is one of the best scenes in Gears. The fact they barely shared a word with each other is so powerful and their facial expressions and emotions say more than words ever could. Marcus knows better than anyone what it’s like to lose a brother

Overall while I do like of Gears 5’s story I will say I really don’t like how they treated JD. In 4 he was a nice and overall caring guy who was willing to go through hell and comfort Kait while in 5 he’s kind of a bumbling asshole. I’m sorry but this really bothers me

Wish we had more of these moments between JD and Marcus ngl. I really like their dynamic of “they both don’t vibe but clearly care” thing they got going on

Followed up by a really good emotional scene. I really just wish they cut the whole decision aspect out and have it so Del’s death was a complete shock for Kait and JD who up until that point were basically living for the most part peaceful lives away from war ever being a factor
