After exiting the plane yesterday in Norfolk, Virginia, after 57 years, U.S. Navy Capt. Thomas E Scheurich has finally returned home. Identified by the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency in April 2025, Capt. Scheurich was lost in 1968 during a Vietnam War mission. Yesterday , American Airlines brought him home to Norfolk, VA, where he was honored with the dignity and respect he deserves. Welcome home, Capt. Scheurich - your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten🇺🇸

TISSUE ALERT 🚨 Just four hours ago myself and Kristopher reached out to all of you requesting assistance in laying Kris’ daughter, 19-year-old Jaybrianna to rest. Jaybrianna was shot and killed by her child’s father on November 23rd. This afternoon I asked Kristopher to meet me at the funeral home, where I surprised her with the news she’s been waiting on! THANK YOU EVERYONE! 🕊️🥹

***HEARTBREAKING*** In 2016 while in Atlanta I met Riziki. She was a senior in high school and an aspiring police officer and pastor. She also made mention of 9/11, with her statement being “9/11 remember.” Rizi was full of spirit and happiness! Her energy was infectious! Today I was informed that on last Friday, December 12th, Rizi took her own life during a TikTok live. I’m being informed this was a result of cyber bullying. I won’t speculate further because that’s all I know, but I do want to express a few things. First, let’s all pray for Rizi’s family and friends during this tragic time. And secondly, I hope Rizi’s death sends a message to all of the cyber bullies out there who think it’s ok to embarrass and humiliate others, because sadly in this case, a beautiful young lady is gone. Rest in peace Rizi. 🕊️💔
