In the same speech, Putin has also stated that Russia is always open to serious negotiations. However, those who refuse to negotiate should know, the longer they wait, the harder it will be reach an agreement with us. This statement too was dismissed, as Ukraine was just given, what they thought, a bottomless carte blanche of military aid and an assurance by Boris Johnson, that the West will stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes. And look where we are today. Zelensky and his handlers have been begging for a ceasefire, accusing Russia of refusal to negotiate, when Putin, on numerous occasions, stated that there will be no ceasefire, unless the core issues of the conflict are addressed and serious proposals for a long lasting peace are on the table. I've said this many times before, and I will say this again, the biggest mistake that all the Western politicians and analytics make is dismissing what Putin says. He never just throws words around. I personally don't always agree with what he says, but I always listen carefully. If any of those people would have actually listened to Putin, at least starting from his prolific 2007 Munich speech, we would be living in a peaceful and mutually beneficial relationship with Europe and Ukraine today.

We now have seen at least three ammo depots, that were placed in the middle of residential neighborhoods in the span of just two months - Pavlograd, Vishneve and Bucha district that caused mass casualty events. By any measure possible, it's a war crime: Article 51(7) of Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions expressly prohibits using the presence of the civilian population to shield military objectives from military operations. Article 28 of the Fourth Geneva Convention prohibits using the presence of protected persons to shield certain points or areas from military operations. Rule 97 of customary international humanitarian law of the International Committee of the Red Cross expressly states: the use of human shields is prohibited. Article 8(2)(b)(xxiii) of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court classifies using the presence of civilians to shield certain points, areas, or armed forces from military operations as a war crime. Every time, Zelensky pointed the finger the other direction and called to punish those responsible. In case of Vishneve, it was so ridiculous that Ukrainian MOD stated that they don't even know whom the ammo, that blew out everything in the 13 hectares radius and destroyed 95 residential buildings, belongs to. The pattern indicates that this is not negligence, but a strategy and the responsibility for the decision to use civilians as a shield lies solely with the supreme commander-in-chief - Zelensky.
