Proudly introducing my upcoming series, "Conversations between Nature’s Memory" 🏞️🧠 What if nature could remember? What if forests, roots, fungi, and soil were constantly speaking to each other through invisible systems we never learned how to hear? Conversations between Nature’s Memory imagines a living dialogue between two interconnected ecosystems, one above soil and one below. Growth, decay, fusion, and redistribution unfold through a mycelium-inspired system where every action reshapes another. An AI observes these exchanges and attempts to translate them into fragments of memory, care, and seasonal change, but the language always remains incomplete. The work premiered at La Biennale di Venezia 2026 as part of As Above, So Below. Organized by One Ocean Foundation Conceived by ZEITGEIST19 Curated by Farah Piriye Coene & Elizabeth Zhivkova Drop mechanics in comments 👇

“Conversations with Nature’s Memory” Exhibition opening May 9 at the Venice Biennale. Series release May 19, 420 pieces, 0.0169 ETH each. Two ecosystems unfold at once, one above soil, one below. Different visual languages, shared logic of growth, branching, fusion, decay, redistribution. The line between them acts as soil, a boundary that is also exchange. Nutrient flow becomes language. Energy shifts, pathways reroute, hidden systems shape what appears. Not dialogue, but response. Not signal, but relation. An AI observes and translates these exchanges into fragments, traces of care, seasons, memory, never fully resolved. Part of “As Above, So Below”.

On November 11th, Orkhan Mammadov is set to unveil “Muraqqa - Data Miniature,” a collection of 111 artworks, marking his decade-long transition from computer scientist to acclaimed artist. Influenced by childhood aspirations of bringing miniature characters to life and a significant representation of Azerbaijan at the 2019 Venice Biennale with an installation centered on animated miniature art, this project stands as a culmination of his journey. Muraqqa takes inspiration from the tradition of miniature painting, a genre that has historically acted as a window into grand narratives, capturing expansive tales within confined spaces, akin to ancient storyboards, bridging the gap to contemporary digital storytelling. Like its historic counterpart, today’s data art seamlessly transforms complex data streams into captivating visual narratives, forging a connection from the age-old canvases of miniatures to the contemporary digital era. This project delves deeply into the rich legacy of miniature painting, which originated in the 13th century from the artistic confluence of Persian and Indian influences, celebrating its status as a symbol of transnational artistic exchange. This body of work includes an in-depth analysis of thousands of miniatures from Azerbaijan, Iran, India, Turkey, and the St. Petersburg Muraqqa collection, a UNESCO-recognised anthology.
