EL PRECIO DE UN RÉGIMEN: EL ÉXODO VENEZOLANO He documentado en distintos países el sufrimiento del migrante venezolano, consecuencia de la profunda crisis que vive Venezuela. Este video fue grabado en 2023, durante nuestra segunda de cuatro travesías por la selva del Darién, una de las rutas migratorias más peligrosas del mundo. Hace unos días circuló un video del hijo de Nicolás Maduro llorando por la separación de sus padres. Millones de venezolanos han vivido esa misma separación durante años, obligados a abandonar su país en busca de libertad, seguridad y un futuro mejor. Las imágenes que presento muestran una realidad que presenciamos de primera mano: un enfrentamiento entre agentes del SENAFRONT de Panamá y miembros del Clan del Golfo, organización criminal que operaba en la zona asaltando, extorsionando y abusando de migrantes, muchas de ellas mujeres venezolanas. Esta es la evidencia de una crisis humanitaria que marcó a toda una generación. ¡Les queda poco! Documenté 12 caravanas migrantes en la frontera sur de México. Vi a miles de venezolanos caminar con una sola consigna: ”¡Fuera Maduro!” Crucé cuatro veces la selva del Darién y la documenté como pocos. Vi morir a migrantes, niños ahogados, mujeres abusadas por el Clan del Golfo y hombres que perdieron la vida ante la brutalidad de la selva. En la llamada Montaña de la Muerte, miles de venezolanos seguían gritando: ”¡Fuera Maduro!” Recorrí Centroamérica viendo a migrantes venezolanos buscar trabajo, pedir ayuda y luchar por llegar al norte. A pesar del sufrimiento, nunca perdieron la esperanza ni dejaron de repetir el mismo anhelo: ”¡Fuera Maduro!” Hoy, al anunciarse tu juicio, Nicolás Maduro, tu hijo habla en un video del dolor de no poder abrazar a su padre. Ese sentimiento es el mismo que millones de venezolanos han vivido durante años: cada Navidad, cada Año Nuevo, cada cumpleaños y cada fin de semana separados de sus seres queridos por culpa de una dictadura. Les ha llegado la hora. Como lo he dicho en muchas entrevistas, el mayor logro de mi periodismo será ver a millones de venezolanos regresar a su país libres, con dignidad y sin una dictadura. ¡Les queda poco!

BREAKING: A Caravan of around 600 migrants has left the south border of Tapachula in direction to the city of Mexico. Migrants claim there is no opportunity to obtain a job, permits of transit to move to the center parts of the country, and also that they live in inhumane conditions. The majority of the migrants are from Haiti, fractions of Cuba and Venezuela.
