So where did the 6b tax every year come from? 3) Kidero is the one who returned Mumias Sugar to profit making and the profit making ended when Kidero left. 4) The fact that imported Sugar could over-compete local sugar was not a local leaders problem but a national government problem - Kibaki's. 5) Simiyu should not expect every luo to be a fisherman especially when there are no roads to the landing beaches. 6) Construction of roads has never been in the hands of local leaders. Even now with devolution, it is not. 7) No luo has ever complained about Kikuyus owning media houses, in any case it's one Kikuyu called SK Macharia, the rest are miniature stations. They have only noted that they control the media houses. 8) Telling us that Achieng Oneko was the first information minister is a correct answer to the wrong question. Owning the media was only liberalised in the early 90s, long after Oneko had left. And what was Oneko suppose to do to the luos in media ownership. 9) Marginalisation has nothing to do with individual business ownership, that people can do from any part of the country. It is about infrastructure and public appointments. 10) It's not only Luo complaining about marginalisation. 11) The luo have never complained about land titles. By the way where have those petitions Simiyu is talking about worked? Since he started ranting about leadership, what has he changed? 12) The marginalisation complaints are not against individual leaders like Kagombe but against the government of the time. 13) Simiyu's arguments are just comic, fit for entertainment. He is better at the bunge la Wananchi. Jevanjee or Jakaranda would be great! Finally, Marginalisation and bad leadership are not mutually exclusive. The can exist concurrently.

The list is endless.
