Too many people will put their phone in a holder on the dash and text, as if it's a loophole. It can be argued that doing so is even more dangerous. What do you think? Does this go too far? Should you become a police officer in 2026? l've been exposed to policing and police culture my entire life (Dad was a Cop, my parents had 5 boys, 4 of us became Cops). I'm very well aware of current challenges facing police services across the country, and I say this with confidence - it's still a great career option and there's never been a better time to join.
