A meeting of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority was held today at the Authority's office, chaired by Minister of State and Chairman PVARA, Bilal bin Saqib MBE. The meeting was attended by Governor State Bank of Pakistan Jameel Ahmad, Finance Secretary Imdad Ullah Bosal, Secretary Law and Justice Raja Naeem Akbar, Chairman SECP Kabir Ahmed Sidhu, DG AML and CFT Authority Dr. Ehsan Sadiq, and Chairman PDA Dr. Sohail Munir. The Authority reviewed progress on the regulatory framework and advanced the HR Regulations and the Licensing Regulations, taking Pakistan a decisive step closer to a fully operational licensing regime for virtual asset service providers.
