Do people know when you beat rebirth you can turn off the pause in the menu and the game plays perfectly fine? Actually it becomes a more strategic and skillful game this way because you have to use your menu at intelligent moments like during move recovery or in safe spots

First mission cleared Cons: It’s a textbook soulslike/parry game, not a single drop of originality or sauce in this game at all. Pros: it’s not horrible, I had fun. It’s the kind of game I would play in between waiting for games that I actually want to play.

Re installed the game. Didn’t even check my build or controls, just prayed I still had muscle memory lol. It’s still shallow af unfortunately. Pressure enemy -> combo enemy to death -> rinse and repeat. Part 3 has to do better.

Btw the main reason I like FFXVI has nothing to do with combos (but it does have 1 of the most fun combo systems in a game imo) still one of my favorite clips and this is the type of scenario that keeps me coming back to XVI
