When Punjab Was Burning, Street Plays Tried To Save Hindu-Sikh Brotherhood During the peak of terrorism in Punjab, many artists used to perform nukkad nataks secretly at night in villages. Their only aim was to stop the brotherhood between Sikhs and Hindus from breaking. In this play, a Hindu stands with a Trishul and a Sikh stands wearing a turban. The play accepts the grievances of both sides but clearly says one thing: those who divide Hindus and Sikhs are mindless. Women and children are the ones paying the price on both sides.
