This tribute from Ice Cube to D.O.C., right before the latter received his Paid in Full Award this weekend, was one of the most powerful things I've heard in a long time.

While primarily known as a singer, Chaka Khan is also an expert drummer, who regularly stepped behind the kit to supply percussion during live sessions with her band Rufus, solos at concerts, and on TV. A few videos of the Queen of Funk in action.

CNN just published a long-lost 2Pac interview given shortly after his release from the pen. He opens up about the double disc album then called "Life Goes On," his vision for a rap league, the criticism from politicians, the hardest parts of being locked up. Pretty incredible

RIP Rich Homie Quan, 1/2 of the greatest group since Outkast, the melodic genius who never stopped going in, who sang & wrote hooks as memorable as anything to ever chart, pop masterpieces straight out the mud. An era-defining ATL all-timer. The tour dates forever locked in.
