The confusion we see today isn't progress, it's the result of sin, trauma, and a fallen world clouding what God made perfectly clear from the beginning. Surgery doesn't change your gender. Hormones don't change your gender. Genesis 1:27 still stands, Jesus confirmed it in Matthew 19:4. God has not changed His mind.
